Planet, Stars and Moon -- Oh My!

The public is invited to view a planetary alignment at the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center at USC Aiken on March 29-30

Aiken, SC (03/28/2023) — The public is invited to a viewing from 7:45-9:15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, and Thursday, March 30, of the alignment of five planets and the moon at the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center at the University of South Carolina Aiken.

Looking up from the horizon in a relatively straight line, attendees will be able to see Jupiter, Mercury, Venus, Uranus and Mars. Further along that line, the moon will also be visible.
