"Havana Cuba All-Stars is a really fun group. They will be hard to listen to while sitting still," said Michael St. John, house manager for the Etherredge Center.

"I believe the Cuba All-Stars will enthrall Aiken with an exciting cultural spectacle."

This year, the All-Stars are back on their encore tour, the Asere Tour (Friendship Tour), to bring Aiken some Cuban music, culture and dance.

"The All-Stars are expected to bring a rich culture with varied rhythms and melodies from 'Son Cubano' to cha-cha-cha and the rumba. Joining the musicians onstage will be a troupe of 'Cuba's finest dancers,'" according to Columbia Artists.

Ticket prices are $40 and $15 for students. Tickets can be purchased online at etherredge.usca.edu/performances/tickets.dot or by phone (803) 641-3305.

The Etherredge Center is currently halfway through its 32nd annual Cultural Series. The Cultural Series continues Feb. 28 with the Turtle Island Quartet. The StepCrew will finish the year on March 22.

Next year marks the 33rd annual Cultural Series and the first season under the leadership of the new Etherredge Center Director, Paul B. Crook.
