Community Helps Pacers Move In

Aiken, SC (09/02/2018) — University of South Carolina Aiken freshmen got a little help from their friends throughout the community when they moved into Pacer Crossing.

During Move-In Day, just a few days before classes actually started, faculty, staff, students and members of the community helped the brand new Pacers haul their belongings into their on-campus apartments.

To help battle the heat, PET Dairy provided ice cream and a misting tent kept the moving crews and new residents cool. Freshmen and their families and friends were also treated to bottles of water from Dr. Sandra Jordan, chancellor.
