USCA director to serve as 2022 chair of NAFSA

Aiken, SC (12/06/2021) — The University of South Carolina Aiken's director of international programs, Liz Dille, will serve as chair of NAFSA: Association of International Educators: Region VII Team for 2022.

"I am excited to continue to serve the NAFSA Region VII team as the chair for the 2022 conference in Charlotte, NC. I look forward to supporting, advocating for, and engaging with my international education colleagues," said Dille.

NAFSA is represented at more than 3,500 institutions worldwide and in more than 150 countries. Region VII includes seven southeastern U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

"NAFSA believes that international education advances learning and scholarship, fosters understanding and respect among people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives, is essential for developing globally competent individuals, and builds leadership for the global community," according to the organization's website.
