University Ushers in Holiday Season; Public Invited

Aiken, SC (11/27/2019) — The University of South Carolina Aiken invites the public to its annual Holiday Fest, Monday, Dec. 2, from 5 - 7 p.m., in the Student Activity Center. For the general public, children 12 and under are free; adult admission is $5. This is a cash-only event; however, an ATM will be available.

Guests will have opportunities to learn more about holidays celebrated all over the world this time of the year.

"We are excited to offer this educational and fun event," said Hoss Brown, USC Aiken's director of diversity initiatives.

He says Pacers will offer event-goers a glimpse into how other cultures celebrate the season through food, games, and other engaging activities, which include:

• Walking through a Winter Wonderland
• Visiting with Santa
• Building a stuffed animal
• Playing games from around the world
• Decorating cookies
• Learning about different faiths and the holidays they observe
• Reading children's books
