Aiken, SC (10/24/2018) — The University of South Carolina Aiken Offices of Student Life Diversity Initiatives and International Programs present two Halloween-related programs, which are free and open to the public.

Panelists will discuss the implications and history of cultural appropriation, blackface and other potentially offensive costumes often used during this holiday.

De Los Muertos

Oct. 31, 4 p.m.

Panelists will explain the Day of the Dead, a Mexican indigenous holiday focused on honoring loved ones who have passed away.
