USC Aiken Nursing Program Receives Give from the Heart

Aiken, SC (01/02/2019) — The Aiken Chapter of Mended Hearts gave the University of South Carolina Aiken a special gift just before the holidays.

At the end of the semester, the group which has been a longstanding supporter of the USC Aiken nursing program, gave the university $7,000. The financial gift will be used for equipment and a specialized training manikin for the fundamentals lab.

"We are so grateful for the generosity of Mended Hearts Chapter 294," said Dr. Thayer McGahee, dean of the school of nursing.

"Our program is enriched and our students' experiences enhanced through their generosity."
