USC Aiken Nursing Student Receives a $3,000 Scholarship

Aiken, SC (12/20/2017) — USC Aiken nursing student Christian Little received a $3,000 scholarship from Aiken's Chapter B of the P.E.O., a Philanthropic Educational Organization. PEO Chapter B has awarded fifteen scholarships through the PEO program for continuing education to USC Aiken students over the past ten years with a cumulative total of $30,000. The P.E.O scholarship is a need-based grant to a deserving non-traditional student to aid in preparation for workforce readiness. The grant can be as high as $3,000 and may be used for books, tuition, childcare while in class or studying, or other school-related expenses that help USC Aiken students as they continue their studies at the university. Christian, a junior, wants to pursue a career in psychiatric mental health when she graduates.
