Friends of USCA explore planned gift options

Aiken, SC (11/17/2021) — During their annual Legacy Society brunch, the University of South Carolina Aiken (USCA) celebrated faculty, staff, families, and friends who, through their estate planning, generously help ensure the academic success of USCA students and other strategic initiatives for faculty, staff, and the university.

Members of the Legacy Society explore planned gift options such as life insurance, annuities, and retirement plans and ultimately determine the best approach for them to leave a gift to USCA. During the annual event, Dr. Daniel Heimmermann, chancellor, and his wife Claudia expressed their gratitude to all of the donors.

As part of the special celebration, Dr. Charmaine Wilson, the keynote speaker during the brunch, shared stories from her time as a professor at USCA, many of which reflected upon the generosity of individual members within the USCA community as well as the institution's various philanthropic endeavors throughout the region and state.
