Pacer Alumni, Fans Invited to Homecoming 2020 Events
Aiken, SC (02/19/2020) — The University of South Carolina Aiken invites alumni and Pacer fans throughout the area to its annual homecoming festivities on Feb. 22, which culminate with a double-header basketball game in the USC Aiken Convocation Center, followed by the city's Mardi Gras celebration on Newberry Street.
Most homecoming activities are open to the public, not just to current and former students and alumni, unless noted below.

Saturday, Feb. 22
Scholarship Breakfast
Students who have received scholarships will meet with generous donors.

Dedication in Honor of Randy Duckett
The university will dedicate a bench in honor of Randy Duckett who served the university for many years, most recently as the director of alumni relations.

Traditional Bridge Walk
Faculty, staff, students and alumni will gather to walk from the main campus to the convocation center as part of the traditional Homecoming Bridge Walk.

Core 4 Awards Ceremony
The university will present the inaugural Core 4 awards to those alumni who embody the institution's core values: curiosity, citizenship, collegiality, and character.

Mardi Gras: Post-game Gathering
The community will celebrate Mardi Gras after the game in the heart of historic downtown Aiken.
