Pacer Graduation Parade and Celebration Set for June 26
Aiken, SC (06/25/2020) — In honor of the University of South Carolina Aiken Class of 2020, the institution will host a Pacer Graduation Parade and Celebration, June 26, at 6:30 p.m., near the traffic circle on Scholar Loop, in front of the Etherredge Center, on campus.

Graduates and guests are asked to enter the campus at the entrances on University Parkway. Members of the Class of 2020 are encouraged to decorate their cars and can begin lining up for the event at 5:30 p.m., in Parking Lot C, in front of the the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center. Each graduate may have one car in the parade.
Families and friends can park in Parking Lot B and walk over to the traffic circle for the parade. A limited number of handicapped parking spots will be available in Lot D for those guests with state-issued placards or license plates.
Attendees are asked to plan for the event by:
- Checking the weather. The event will take place rain or shine.
- Bringing an umbrella
- Dressing for the heat
- Bringing a lawn chair
- Bringing a water bottle
- Bringing a face covering
- Ensuring physical distancing (at least 6 feet apart)
- Joining celebrants in the traffic circle on Scholar Loop, outside the Etherredge Center, at 6:30 p.m.
