Students Unite to Support Fellow Pacers
Aiken, SC (06/18/2019) — Unity, a student group at the University of South Carolina Aiken recently announced its officers for the 2019-2020 academic year.
"Unity is a support group for members of the LGBT+ community and their allies," said Austin Bowers, president of the group.
"We help provide a safe space where members of the USC Aiken student body can feel comfortable with themselves and not be afraid or ashamed of who they are."
The officers who will serve during the upcoming year are:
- President: Austin Bowers
- Vice President: Jenesis Garcia
- Secretary: Bryana Preston
- Social media coordinator: Natasha Florez
- Treasurer: Rashad Stowers
