USC Aiken Art Profs' Exhibit Open to the Public

Aiken, SC (01/24/2019) — The Etherredge Center Lobby Gallery now features an exhibit by two University of South Carolina Aiken art professors. The exhibit, which closes Feb. 2, is free and open to the public.

Being and Becoming showcases paintings by Dr. Michael Fowler and Joseph Kameen.

"These paintings feature bright colors, nature scenes, and human figures that speak about shared human experiences," said Katie Kameen, gallery director.

Special events related to the exhibit include a seminar with the artists on Jan. 29, 3-4 p.m., in the Etherredge Center Lobby Gallery. A closing reception with the artists takes place Feb. 2, 6-8 p.m., in the Etherredge Center lobby gallery. The exhibit and related events are free and open to the public. The exhibition ends Feb. 2.
