USC Aiken Riders Earn Ribbons at FENCE
Aiken, SC (02/27/2018) — Members of the University of South Carolina Aiken's equestrian club sports program competed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association event at the Foothills Equestrian Nature Center near Tryon, N.C.
Several Pacers placed, earning ribbons for the team:
Brooklin Kuipers, a communication major from Holland, Mich.: 3rd Open over fences, 2nd Open flat
Cheyanne Gray, a biology major from Beaufort, S.C.: 3rd Novice over fences, 4th Novice flat
Yasmin Bedenbaugh, a psychology major from Gilbert, S.C.: 5th Novice over fences, 5th Novice flat
Anne Bond, a nursing major from Summerville, S.C.: 5th intermediate flat
Dora Burd, an engineering major from Easley, S.C.: 3rd Walk Trot
Wofford College, Converse College, and Furman University co-hosted the FENCE show, which featured 11 colleges from across the state competing in a variety of divisions.
The USC Aiken teams competes next on March 3 in a show at the College of Charleston.
