Ace Welcomes Aiken Scholars
Aiken, SC (08/19/2019) — Ace, the beloved mascot for the University of South Carolina Aiken, spent his morning greeting students at the Aiken Scholars Academy on their first day of class.
The academy is located in the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center on the USC Aiken campus. This high school for academically gifted students is the result of a unique partnership between the Aiken County Public School District and USC Aiken.
The Aiken Scholars Academy Class of 2023 is the second cohort to attend the school.
