Bonilla Earns PBC Preseason Honor

Aiken, SC (01/25/2018) — University of South Carolina Aiken standout Jose Bonilla has been named to the preseason all-conference team, as announced by the Peach Belt office. The team was voted on by the league's head coaches.
Bonilla, a senior from Aguada, P.R., posted a team-best .399 batting average a season ago. He also tallied a squad-high 93 hits, which paced the league. Bonilla was fifth in the league in triples. During his first year with the squad, he garnered 14 doubles, 16 stolen bases, had 35 RBI, crossed home 60 times and finished eighth in the PBC in on-base percentage.
Bonilla and the rest of the Pacers open the 2018 season on Friday, Feb. 2 at home against Lincoln Memorial. First pitch is slated for 4 p.m. Live stats and video will be available at PacerSports.com.
