Eight Earn PBC All-Academic Team Accolades

Augusta, Ga. (11/04/2018) — Several University of South Carolina Aiken Women's Soccer standouts have been named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team.
Kaitlyn Armstrong, Sydney Failla, Lauryn Laslie, Gressa Olson, Willa Olson, Amanda Raleigh, Summer Ricciardi, and Kennedy Smith have been named to the team.
Armstrong is a senior majoring in exercise and sport science. Failla is a sophomore majoring in exercise and sport science. Laslie is a sophomore majoring in elementary education. Gressa Olson and Willa Olson are sophomores and are undeclared. Raleigh is a junior majoring in exercise and sport science. Ricciardi is a sophomore majoring in elementary education. Smith is a sophomore majoring in exercise and sport science.
Founded in 1991, the Peach Belt Conference is home to 35 NCAA Division II National Championships. Member institutions in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida compete in 15 championship sports. The 2018-19 members are Augusta University, Clayton State University, Columbus State University, Flagler College, Francis Marion University, Georgia College, Georgia Southwestern State University, Lander University, University of North Carolina at Pembroke, University of North Georgia, University of South Carolina Aiken, and Young Harris College.
