UofSC Aiken pumps more than $350.7 million annually into the South Carolina economy, most of which benefits Aiken and Aiken County
Aiken, SC (05/03/2021) — The Hospital Auxiliary of Aiken County has long been a partner and supporter of the University of South Carolina Aiken (UofSC Aiken). Flo McElmurray, president and Allen Radcliffe, Jr., scholarship chair presented a check to Dean of the School of Nursing, Dr. Thayer McGahee and our nursing students.
Mary Driscoll, vice chancellor for advancement at UofSC Aiken stated, "Our School of Nursing is extremely grateful for the generosity of the Hospital Auxiliary of Aiken County. They contributed $10,000 to the various annual scholarships they support each year." It's amazing how truly generous the hospital auxiliary is, and that their support and partnership has spanned for over 30 years!"
As UofSC Aiken graduates its class of 2021, more Pacer nurses will be servicing Aiken and the sur rounding CSRA.
