Aiken, SC (06/01/2018) — Media are invited to cover the Battle for the Paddle award ceremony Friday, June 1, at noon, in Augusta University's Christenberry Fieldhouse.
The Battle for the Paddle is a newly installed element to the friendly rivalry between Augusta University and the University of South Carolina Aiken. This academic year, student government association presidents from both universities created the Battle for the Paddle.
At the end of the academic year, the university which won the most sporting competitions will receive the trophy paddle and bragging rights.
AU Student Government Association President LeDarius Scott will present the paddle to Brandon Eberl, president of the USC Aiken SGA, Friday, June 1, at noon, in Augusta University's Christenberry Fieldhouse.
