Pacers Pick Up USTFCCCA Academic Honor

Aiken, SC (02/03/2022) — The University of South Carolina Aiken women's cross country team was recently honored by the USTFCCCA for their hard work in the classroom.

The Pacers, coached by former USC Aiken cross country standouts and alumni Alley Kneece and Marcie Rapp, were named to the all-academic team for the 2021 NCAA Division II Cross Country Season.

Overall, there were 111 different programs named All-Academic Teams for their efforts during the 2021 season.

With their 3.847 GPA, USC Aiken had the third-highest GPA on the list behind Waye State's 3.859 and Thomas Jefferson's 3.850.

In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
