Rotary Club Student of the Month
Aiken, SC (10/04/2021) — Aiken Sunrise Rotary Club has named University of South Carolina Aiken (USCA) student Burley Johnson as their Student of the Month for October.
Johnson is a first-year graduate student in the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) program at the USCA School of Business Administration. He also earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science at USCA while working in the university's Department of Campus Recreation (DCR). He was named the DCR Employee of the Year for 2020-2021 and was an Exercise Sports and Science Student of the Year finalist.
Johnson is active in extracurricular activities at USCA, where he participates in Pros versus Joes, PacerFit, and group fitness classes. In his spare time, he enjoys exercise, reading, and watching sports. "I chose to attend USCA because of the location and affordability," he said. Over 31% of USCA students graduate with no student debt.
Johnson's goal is to complete his MBA with a 3.8 GPA or higher and work in campus recreation or student life.
