Students Selected for Magellan Program Receive Funding for Research

Aiken, SC (01/08/2019) — The University of South Carolina Aiken announced its Magellan Scholars for the spring semester.

"USC Aiken has a long history of Magellan Scholars. We are very proud of these students and their faculty advisors," said Dr. Chad Leverette who coordinates sponsored research at USC Aiken.

"We look forward to hearing more about their relevant and interesting research and findings."

As part of the USC System Magellan program, these students receive up to $3,000 to fund research they are conducting with their faculty mentors. These Pacers will present their research to the public during Scholar Showcase, which takes place April 12 on campus.

The Magellan Scholars from USC Aiken include:

Morgan Bookstaver, senior, exercise and sports science major
