USC Aiken Convo Center Ranked one of Best in Division II

Aiken, SC (01/24/2018) — Recently, the NCAA polled college basketball fans via social media to determine which stadiums are the best in Division II. The University of South Carolina Aiken Convocation Center made the list.

Many factors were considered when making the determination, including how the arena looks or how many patrons it holds.

"At the end of the day, the best arenas are enhanced by the atmosphere within, and the fans that make playing at home a true advantage," said Wayne Cavadi of NCAA.com in his original story on the rankings.

The data was gathered using Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. On social media, fans provided their insight on what they consider the best venues in Division II.

"The responses were overwhelming," Cavadi said.
