The University of South Carolina Aiken is one of only 20 sites across the state to host a public review of South Carolina's K-12 instructional materials

Aiken, SC (11/08/2021) — According to State Board of Education Regulations 43-70, the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) conducts a public review of the K-12 instructional materials recommended by Instructional Materials Review Panels for use in public schools. The purpose of the review is to solicit citizen input regarding the potential materials to be included on the state-adopted list. The materials will be on display from November 9 through December 9 in Room 238D of the Business & Education building, during regular business hours. Instructional materials include the subject areas of science, social studies, and career and technology education.
